The Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Giants 34-7 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on January 28, 2001. The feared and formidable Ravens defense held the Kerry Collins and Tiki Barber-led Giants offense to 152 total yards behind the play of linebacker Ray Lewis, who recorded three solo tackles, two assists, and four blocked passes. Lewis was named Super Bowl XXXV MVP for his heroic effort in bringing the city of Baltimore its first Super Bowl since the Baltimore Colts won the championship 30 years prior.
