1969 Topps Football Complete PSA Registered Set - #1 on PSA Registry with 9.09 GPA
REGISTRY SET'S BEST!!! The 263-card 1969 Topps Football set continues to be one of the most popular gridiron releases of the 1960s and featured players from both the NFL and AFL. Broken into two series, the first, numbering from 1-132, featured borderless, full-bleed-colored backgrounds with a player image above his team logo, name and his position. The second series included a similar player image with a thin white border for card #s 133-263. To confuse things slightly, the checklist card #132 was printed with and without borders. Our consignor painstakingly gathered this collection, creating the #1 set on PSA's esteemed Set Registry. The offered 1969 Topps is complete with 70 - PSA 8s; seven - PSA 8.5s and 187 - PSA 9s for an overall 9.09 GPA. Included is a pair of checklist cards as follows: #132 Checklist 133-263 (No Border) in a PSA 9 and #132 Checklist 133-263 (Thin White Border) in a PSA 8.
