1959 Topps Football Ungraded Near-Complete Set; Missing Unitas & Brown Offered in Lots 1234 & 1235
In the fourth installment of Topps football cards, many of the same stars drive the desirability of the set led by future Hall of Famers Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, Paul Hornung, and 2nd-year pro and reigning NFL MVP Jim Brown. Offered here is an attractive ungraded 1959 Topps Football set. Though Unitas and Brown are presented in separate Lots 1234 & 1235, this near-set includes #s: 20 Gifford (NM), 23 Starr (EX-MT), 40 Layne (EX-MT), 51 Huff RC (EX), 55 Berry (EX), 82 Hornung (EX), 103 Karras RC (EX-MT), 116 Kramer RC (EX), 130 Tittle (NM), 132 Parker RC (VG-EX OC), 140 Mitchell RC (NM) and 155 Taylor RC (VG). The remainder of the set displays 20% NM, 45% EX-MT, 15% EX, and the rest as lesser. The majority of the cards in the set appear very fresh and have been downgraded for centering reasons.
