Athletes from all over the world and all walks of sport are included in this amazingly huge conglomeration, such as Joe DiMaggio, Walter Payton, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Roger Bannister, Babe Zaharias, Rick Mears, and of course, Wayne Gretzky. The set also featured multiple events and competitions across the globe. Offered here is a 1977-79 Sportscaster #77-10 Wayne Gretzky graded 8 NM-MT by PSA. This colorful example offers crystal-clear imagery of the Great One on the ice. With sharp edging and borders as well as clean surfaces, this super-sized issue warrants serious consideration. Building this set in high-grade is an arduous task, but this high-grade example is a cornerstone around which to build. Only eight examples graded higher!
