1955 Bowman #152 Tom Landry PSA 8 NM-MT
AMERICA'S COACH!!! Tom Landry punted for 15,900 yards during his playing career, but playing football would not ultimately be where he would change the game forever. As head coach of Dallas for 29 years, Tom Landry posted a record of 250-162-6 in 418 games and currently stands 4th all-time for most wins and games. He led the Cowboys to five NFC Championships and Super Bowl victories in Super Bowls VI and XII. Offered here is a 1955 Bowman #152 Tom Landry graded 8 NM-MT by PSA. This is one of the nicest we have ever seen with only a pair of superiors reaching the elevated 9 MINT status. The edges and corners on this won are razor-sharp. The colors are vibrant and prominent and the back is virtually flawless. Save for the slightest of facial print issues, this Landry card from his final playing year is extraordinary. This high-grade 8 NM-MT example would upgrade even a top collection. Landry was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1990.
