1954 Topps #128 Hank Aaron Rookie PSA 6 EX-MT
HAMMERIN' HANK ROOKIE!!! One of Hank Aaron's most undervalued post WWII cards has always been his 1954 Topps rookie card. Fortunately, this inexplicable disservice to Hammerin' Hank's first cardboard issue no longer exists, with each passing sale of his high-grade 1954 Topps gem achieving escalating prices. Presented here is a super-eye-pleasing PSA 6 Aaron Rookie still exhibiting an abundance of pack-fresh qualities. Due to the steroids era in professional baseball, many diehard baseball fans consider Aaron's 755 lifetime home runs the all-time mark, dismissing Bond's 762 statistical high mark. Additionally, Aaron still reigns supreme as the all-time RBI and Total Bases king, and this stellar offering is a grand testament to his iconic stature. A young Aaron portrait image accompanied by a black and white fielding pose are both set against a richly hued orange background, with the classic illustration somewhat favoring the right edge. Relatively clean surfaces and superb image resolution are additional highlights, with subtle corner wear and a faint surface blemish near the upper left edge accounting for the grade. A visually striking PSA 6 example, it merits serious attention from any esteemed rookie card collector!
