1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folder C. O'Leary/T. Cobb "Fast Work At Third" PSA 4.5 VG-EX+
TY COBB!!! In 1912, Charley O'Leary batted an even .200, only appearing in three games, but Cobb, the reigning MVP, batted an astounding league-leading .409, and also led the AL in hits (226) and slugging (.584) while stealing 43 bases and driving in 83 runs. This 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folder displays, at center, Charley O'Leary eluding the fielder's tag as he slides into third. The offered rare Triple Folder issue not only displays Detroit's "reliable" shortstop, but also the legendary Tigers outfielder Ty Cobb against a bold red background. Presented in a PSA 4.5 VG-EX+ holder, this O'Leary/Cobb Triple Folder is in excellent condition with sharp corners and edging. The red-toned back is clean except for light soiling at the creases, and the face displays a little amount of aging wear. Though the "Fast Work At Third" is the slightly more common O'Leary/Cobb examples, the Triple Folder cards across the board are extremely sought-after, especially those displaying the greatest player of his day.
