1911 T3 Turkey Red #80 Chief Bender Cabinets Checklist Back PSA 5 EX
T3 BENDER!!! One of the more desirable Turkey Red subjects is HOF pitcher Chief Bender, presented here in a scarce PSA 5 holder. It's no secret among T3 enthusiasts that 5 EX examples are few and far between, with this marvelous offering joined by only nine other PSA specimens at this mid-grade plateau and bested by a meager four copies! The great Chief Bender ably assisted Connie Mack's A's in capturing three world championships in a four-year period from 1910 to 1913. Bender won 212 games to the tune of a sparkling 2.46 lifetime ERA, while claiming six fall classic victories in his spectacular 16-year career. The card reveals a breathtaking Bender pitching pose, highlighted by robust hues and the lack of any glaring surface flaws within the central image. Modest blemishes include typical corner wear and some areas of soiling along the upper and left borders, making this PSA 5 masterpiece worthy of any world-class T3 gathering!
