BIRD ROOKIE!!! The 1980 Topps Basketball set features one of the most unique designs, with three players offered on each card, allowing for each to be separated at the perforations. This uniqueness of each individual player card allowed Topps to create multiple cards with the same player, as is the case with the offered Rebounding Leader card featuring Boston's Larry Bird on his rookie issue, New York's Bill Cartwright and Atlanta's John Drew. The most significant card in the set is the Scoring Leader issue featuring Bird, Philadelphia's Julius Erving and Lakers Rookie Magic Johnson. Presented here is the highest graded Rebounding Leader card holdered a GEM MINT 10 by PSA. With more than 2,400 examples listed on the PSA census, fewer than two percent have achieved this uppermost assessment.
