We cannot imagine a more formidable '55 Bowman card than this amazing PSA 8 Hank Aaron prize with wood grain borders that have miraculously defied time by retaining a majority of their original hue. It's no secret that the 1955 Bowman and 1962 Topps issues are among the most challenging issues to locate high-grade examples due to their wood grain borders reflecting serious surface wear, with this example bested by a meager six PSA specimens! This resounding memento reflects Aaron's boyish "hands on knees" well-centered image residing between four pack-fresh borders. The image only slightly favors the right edge, with the gleaming obverse side surface, four sharp corners, and near-immaculate surfaces justifying the sanctified grade. The critical brown borders only exhibit the slightest wear along the lower edge and two left corner tips, making this seemingly timeless 68-year-old memento one of Hammerin' Hank's finest!
