1949 Bowman #110 Early Wynn Rookie PSA 9 MINT – Highest PSA Graded Example!

WYNN ROOKIE!!! Presented here is a pack-fresh 1949 Bowman Early Wynn PSA 9 MINT Rookie that joins a meager ten other examples as the finest of its kind! Indeed, of the nearly 900 PSA encapsulated copies, not a single subject has achieved the pinnacle 10 assessment. Synonymous with this card's immortal standing is Hall of Famer Early Wynn's outstanding 23-year career that commenced in 1939 with the Washington Senators. In 1949, Wynn joined the Cleveland Indians, and the burly right-hander posted four 20+ winning seasons with the Tribe before being traded to the White Sox for the start of the 1958 campaign. An honored member of nine All-Star teams, Wynn claimed the American League Cy Young Award in 1959 via his 22 victories, leading Chicago to the American League Pennant. He ended his career with 300 wins, and this grand offering likewise offers a level of excellence seldom seen on any 74-year-old card. Highlights include Wynn's extremely well-centered portrait pose, an imposing gold/yellow hued setting, pristine surfaces, pinpoint corner tips, and bright borders, with this premier Wynn rookie joining a handful of others as the best of the best!
