1938 Exhibits 4 on 1 Complete PSA Registered Set - #3 on Set Registry with 5.06 GPA
The 1938 Four-on-One Exhibits set is the final in a series of Exhibit cards that feature four teammates on one card. Measuring about 3-3/8" x 5-5/8", as with previous issues, this 16-card set appeared in a brown tint with no numbers and "MADE IN U.S.A." at the bottom edge. Once again, the set is chock full of Hall of Famers like Lou Gehrig, Hank Greenberg, Joe DiMaggio, Joe Cronin, Carl Hubbell, Dizzy Dean and Joe Medwick, among others. Highlighting this 1938 Exhibit set ranked #3 on the PSA Set Registry are the following: Gehringer/Greenberg/York/Bridges (PSA 6), Hubbell/Ott/Leiber/Ripple (PSA 5), Cronin/Foxx/Grove/Vosmik (PSA 5), DiMaggio/Dickey/Gehrig/Gomez (PSA 5) and Medwick/Mize/Warneke/Martin (PSA 3MK). This #3 ranked Set Registry Four-on-One Exhibit set, with a 5.063 GPA, includes three PSA 6 examples, ten PSA 5s, two PSA 4s and a PSA 3MK. There are three of the highest graded examples included, four with only a single card surpassing the offered graded, and five with only a pair graded higher.
