As with virtually all the 1920s and '30s exhibit sets, the most valuable subject is Babe Ruth, with this outstanding 1926-29 Blue-Tint Pose PSA 5 EX example one of only eight encapsulated copies, while being bested by a meager four specimens! This awe-inspiring blue-tinted representation of the Sultan of Swat depicts him bat in hand against his left shoulder, portraying the mighty Babe as he is about to step to the plate to wallop another one of his colossal round-trippers. For all his achievements, none could ever be more distinguished than Ruth's 714 home runs, bested only by Bonds and Aaron. During the period this seldom-surfacing exhibit/postcard was issued, the Babe electrified his fanbase by leading the Yankees to two consecutive world series championships (1927-28), with his momentous 60 round-trippers in 1927 paving the way.
