(LOT 1808)
2001 Bowman Chrome Baseball Unopened Box 24 Packs

One of the most highly coveted unopened boxes since the turn of the century just happened to be released only one year into the new millennia. The 2001 Bowman Chrome Baseball set included some of the great rookies of the 21st century including Travis Hafner, Justin Morneau, Jake Peavy, Hank Blalock, Ryan Madson, Jose Reyes, Ichiro Suzuki and Albert Pujols, the last two likely destined for Cooperstown. With 24 packs per box and four cards per pack, collectors could potentially pull Refractors, Autographed Refractors, Autographed Rookie Refractors, Rookie Season Game Worn Jersey inserts, Game Used Bats cards and many other highly coveted set inserts to add to the desirable base set.

The box is in its original condition fresh from the factory with the Topps shrink wrap still protecting the box and keeping the 24-packs safely within. This exceptionally well-preserved unopened box offers the possibility of landing an autographed Pujols Refractor, of which one example sold in 2022 for more than $450,000. If you are a collector of Albert Pujols or Ichiro Suzuki, or even a modern card enthusiast, the upside potential for this amazing 24-pack unopened 2001 Bowman Chrome cannot be overstated, especially given the hammer prices from recent years of these two future HOFers.
