HOF SHORT PRINT!!!... George Connor was a Chicago Bear through and through as a native Chicagoan who played football at nearby Notre Dame and then joined the Monsters of the Midway after college. He was the first recipient of the Outland Award as college football's best lineman and he helped lead the Irish to back-to-back titles in 1946 & '47. Connor is a member of the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame. The offered 1952 Bowman Large #19 George Connor graded 8.5 NM-MT+ is worthy of that same HOF status.
