MOOSE LAUNCHES ONE!!!... In Game 2 of the 1963 World Series, Los Angeles Dodgers hurler Johnny Podres took the mound against New York Yankees Al Downing. To date, Podres was 4-1 having won three straight World Series starts including two complete games in the 1955 Series. Timely hitting by LA was too much for the Yankees defense and newly acquired former Yankee Moose Skowron's fourth inning home run proved to be the game-winner for the Bums. Offered is a 1963 World Series Game 2 ticket graded PSA 4 VG-EX. This would be Podres fourth and final win in World Series play.
