(LOT 1725)
Pair of 1984 A.L. & N.L. All-Star Team Signed Official All-Star Baseballs 30/29 Sigs! R. Jackson, Brett, Gwynn & More - PSA/DNA LOAs

The 1984 Major League Baseball All-Star Game took place on July 10th at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, home of the National League Giants. With each team loaded with future Hall of Famers, players witnessed an 81-year-old legendary Giant, Carl Hubbell, throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The NL beat the AL squad by a score of 3-1 with home runs coming from Kansas City's George Brett, Montreal's Gary Carter and Atlanta's Dale Murphy. Offered are two team signed baseballs from that Mid-Summer Classic. The American League ball features 30 signatures including Don Mattingly as well as HOFers Eddie Murray, Phil Niekro, Reggie Jackson, Jim Rice, Alan Trammell and Rickey Henderson to name a few. The National League ball includes 29 autographs from Steve Garvey, Dwight Gooden and Fernando Valenzuela as well as HOFers Mike Schmidt, Ozzie Smith, Ryne Sandberg, Tony Gwynn and Bruce Sutter among others. Each 1984 All-Star Game ball remains in superior condition with consistent toning throughout. The National League ball does present with heavier yellowing, though both spheres display consistent "7-9" signatures strength overall. (Lasorda and Murphy are deemed clubhouse.) PSA/DNA LOA included.
