1955 Topps #123 Signed Sandy Koufax Rookie Card - PSA 10 AUTOGRAPH!

Presented here is one of the great Sandy Koufax's most coveted cardboard collectibles, an autographed 1955 Topps #123 rookie card revealing a perfect PSA 10 GEM MINT signature! Finding a scripted Koufax rookie versus an unsigned example is a challenging task, with the total signed PSA encapsulated '55 Koufax specimens representing a meager 2% of the approximate 9,600+ unsigned examples. Indeed, the extreme scarcity of this autographed marvel versus the myriad of unsigned subjects is most significant, once again justifying the immense undervalued status of signed vintage baseball cards. Synonymous with its elite standing is Sandy Koufax's place among baseball's greatest pitchers, for you will not get many arguments that Sandy Koufax's peak value resides at the summit of virtually all of our National Pastime's all-time hurlers.

From 1962 through 1966, he dominated major league hitters as no other pitcher ever has, to the tune of three Cy Young awards, four no-hitters (including one perfect game!), three seasons with 25 or more wins and microscopic ERAs less than 2.00, and a southpaw record 382 strikeouts in a single season! The card's aesthetics are outstanding, spearheaded by the PSA 10 fine blue Sharpie signature situated along the bottom of Sandy's classic portrait pose. Fresh-looking hues, a radiant yellow background, respectable centering and the lack of any obtrusive surface flaws are additional highlights combining to portray VG-EX aesthetics. Over time, Sandy Koufax has evolved into an American sports hero, justified by his incredible five-year run that is unequalled in baseball history. Likewise, this signed 1955 Topps rookie card representation of him stands as one of the premier scripted Koufax inaugural subjects, meriting a final resting place in any Cooperstown worthy autograph gathering!
