(LOT 529)
"Unique for the Grade" 1958 Topps #183 Dave Jolly PSA 10 GEM MINT – "POP 1"; The SOLE Highest Graded Example!

This PSA 10 GEM MINT 1958 Topps #183 Dave Jolly masterpiece just happens to be a POP 1 heirloom; irrefutably besting the 270+ other PSA encapsulated copies as the premier Jolly example on the planet! Right-handed hurler Dave Jolly pitched five MLB seasons with the Milwaukee Braves, and was traded to the San Francisco Giants directly after the 1958 season. Interestingly enough, even though his 1958 Topps subject reflects him in a Giants uniform, he never pitched another MLB game for any ballclub. His tragic death via a brain tumor only two years later at the tender age of 38 justifies why this pack-fresh marvel portraying a virtually dead-centered and immaculate Jolly portrait image as well as a blistering sharp perimeter reigns supreme as the finest of its kind!
