1936 Ticket Stub from Lou Gehrig's First All-Star Game Home Run - PSA Encapsulated Authentic

AS GEHRIG GOES DEEP!!! It is somewhat interesting that with seven All-Star appearances during his career, Lou Gehrig only managed to hit two All-Star Game home runs during his career. From 1933 to 1939, Lou had 19 All-Star at-bats, amassing four hits, four runs and six walks despite not appearing the 1939 AS event. In 1936, the year Lou captured his second AL MVP award, Gehrig crushed a solo shot to right off Chicago Cub Curt Davis. In 1937, he clouted a 2-run shot scoring Joe DiMaggio with a right field blast off St. Louis' Dizzy Dean. This beautiful and well-kept All-Star stub hails from that 1936 Mid-Summer Classic when the Iron Horse bashed his first dinger. Presenting in excellent condition this stub has been expertly torn at the perforated edge with only minimal wear apparent at the edges and corner. PSA-encapsulated as Authentic, this historic relic from the 1930s features the headshots of MLB Commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis at center with league presidents Ford Frick (NL) and William Harridge (AL) flanking him on either side. This ticket stub is in truly superb condition and is yet another token of Henry Louis Gehrig's historic and Hall of Fame career.
