OLD ACHES AND PAINS!!!! Despite the nickname, Appling won two batting titles and earned seven All-Star nods as well as Hall of Fame induction in 1964. This is a fantastically colorful '34 Goudey featuring the White Sox great. Tremendous color, razor-sharp edges and corners and snow-white borders makes this one for the best collection. Only two equal this highest graded example.
