He will forever be known for his high right leg kick utilized as a timing mechanism to ignite his incredible power. Ironically, Ott would capture his only world championship the year his two 1933 Goudey cards were issued. One of the hobby's toughest series, this Mel Ott 1933 bubble gum card displays better than the given grade, impressively representing the very young Cooperstown Inductee.
