In 1939, Billy Herman was coming off yet another All-Star season batting .277 with 173 hits and 56 RBIs. The 1939 season saw him lead the Majors in triples with an astounding 18 while batting .307. Offered is a 1939 Goudey Premium R303-B Sepia Billy Herman in which the All-Star infielder has signed, earning a GEM MINT 10 rating from PSA. The PSA encased card has been graded a 3 VG by PSA/DNA, but appears better than the offered grade. The autograph is virtually flawless, boldly signed in blue Sharpie across the front. This sepia-toned card shows Herman in his follow thru and only reveals the lightest of handling wear at the corners and edges. This one is a beauty and it would make for an excellent addition to any Hall of Fame autograph collection.
