EARLY MANTLE AUTO!!! Measuring 5-1/2" x 3-1/4", this striking government postcard (GPC) have been boldly signed in black by the great Mickey Mantle. And though he was only 21 when he signed this postcard for Bruce Houston of Omaha, Nebraska, The Mick was already a two-time World Series champion having won as a rookie and in 1952. The GPC is postmarked "NOV 3 1952" with Mr. Houston's address listed on the front and signed in a deep black fountain pen "To Bruce - Best Regards Mickey Mantle". Light toning is consistent throughout this encased marvel featuring a "9" strength signature according to Beckett Authentication Services. This Mantle signed GPC really stands out and features the Yankees great's early career signature.
