1972 Roberto Clemente Signed Cancelled Check - PSA/DNA Authentic Autograph
CLEMENTE CHECK!!! Who knew there would only be a couple more months with the Pirates superstar when he wrote this check in August of 1972? Clemente amazed us in life on the field and in death with his endless generosity. Clemente won four batting titles, 12 Gold Gloves and the 1966 National League MVP award. Amazing! Offered is a 1972 signed check to the Belmont Hotel that has been encased by PSA/DNA as Authentic. This $51.48 check remains in good condition with a small portion of the upper left corner missing. Written and signed in blue ballpoint, this room service check is dated 8-17-1972 by one of the greatest Pittsburgh Pirates ever. Side note: Clemente was a pinch-hitter this day against the LA Dodgers going 0-1.
