1933 Sport Kings #2 Babe Ruth PSA 2 Good
KING OF BASEBALL!!! During the early 1930s, the Goudey Gum Company had a special relationship with baseball's most celebrated figure, Babe Ruth. Goudey produced no less than ten different cards featuring the Bambino, including four from the coveted 1933 Goudey Baseball set and one in their multisport R333 Sport Kings set from that same year which also included Ty Cobb and Carl Hubbell as the only other two ballplayers in the set. By this time, Ruth was in the waning years of his career, but he still managed to bat .301 and clout 34 dingers while leading the American League in walks with 114. Offered is a 1933 Sport Kings #2 Babe Ruth card graded 2 Good by PSA. Without question The Babe was the reigning king of the sport of baseball and this 1933 Sport Kings card honors that royal stature as the great Babe Ruth approached the end of his storied career.
