1961 National Bank Cleveland Browns Complete Set of 35 Cards on 6 Uncut Sheets Including Jim Brown & Len Dawson - "VERY RARE"

By 1961, the Cleveland Browns were one of the most dominant professional football squads having captured seven titles in the All-America Football Conference, all four AAFC championships from 1946-49, and the NFL with victories in 1950, '54 and' 55. In 1961, the offence was built around full-back Jim Brown, halfback Bobby Mitchell, quarterback Milt Plum and flanker Ray Renfro, among others. Offered here is an extremely rare 1961 National City Bank Cleveland Browns complete set offered on six uncut sheets in overall EX-MT to NM condition. With each panel measuring 7-1/2" x 8", these scarce regional collectibles featured six Browns per panel with each number "Set No. 1" through "Set No. 6". This unique issue held 35 players and a membership card initiating its holder into the National City Bank "Quarterback Club". The offered full set of National City Bank cards rarely come to auction, especially in high-grade condition. Featured in this unique regional are Hall of Famers Len Dawson, Mike McCormack, Jim Brown and Bobby Mitchell as well as stars Ray Renfro, Bobby Franklin, Milt Plum and Jim Houston, to name a few. This is one of the nicest 1961 National City Browns complete sets on uncut we have ever had the pleasure to offer.
