(LOT 200)
"Unique for the Grade" T206 Broad Leaf 460 Kid Elberfeld "Washington Fielding" PSA 6 EX-MT - "POP 1"; The Highest Graded Example for ALL T206 Broad Leaf 460 Subjects on the COMBINED PSA & SGC POP CHARTS!

This miraculous PSA 6 EX-MT T206 Kid Elberfeld "Washington Fielding" Broad Leaf 460 marvel just happens to be the SOLE and HIGHEST GRADED PSA example for ALL of the 46 Broad Leaf 460 T206s currently listed on the PSA "Pop" Chart! Indeed folks, none of the Broad Leaf 460 ad backs have managed to achieve this "one of a kind" PSA assessment, with SGC's census report indicating its highest graded T206 Broad Leaf 460 is a single SGC 6 Mickey Doolan's "Fielding" subject. The sale of any "Pop 1", highest graded cardboard issue is a major event, let alone when it is a T206 Broad Leaf 460 player and the highest graded example for any known player. T206 Broad Leaf 460 subjects are near-impossible to find, substantiated by the prestigious T206 Resource Website listing a Broad Leaf 460 subject as the fourth rarest T206 ad back behind the illustrious Ty Cobb w/a Ty Cobb back, Brown Old Mill and Brown Lenox.

At the time this was written, PSA had encapsulated only 46 T206 Broad Leaf 460 specimens, far surpassing the rarity of other obscure cigarette ad backs such as the ever-elusive UZIT (155); Drum (158); Red Hindu (198) and Black Lenox (258). Needless to say, this PSA 6 Kid Elberfeld offering irrefutably resides as extreme of a grading anomaly as you will ever see, with the other four PSA and SGC Elberfeld graded examples listed as follows: PSA 1.5; PSA 1; SGC 1; SGC "A". Remarkable to say the least, this grading disparity is synonymous to Secretariat's 31-length win in the 1973 Belmont Stakes when "Big Red" annihilated his competition by 31 lengths (nearly the length of a football field) to capture horse racing's majestic Triple Crown. The central image of this astonishing gem is absolutely brilliant, with Elberfeld's well-centered fielding pose emanating sparkling baby blue/tranquil green hues and crystal clear clarity. No obtrusive surface flaws are evident, with several areas of mild soiling along the left and upper borders preventing a higher assessment. Of course, the most significant aspect is the super clean "BROAD LEAF 460 SUBJECTS" verso that has eluded any notable blemishes. The slick-fielding Elberfeld played a formidable 14 years in the Major Leagues, with this "Washington Fielding" Broad Leaf 460 pinnacle offering proudly standing tall as his most coveted and valuable cardboard treasure!
