(LOT 157)
1952 Topps Lot of 45 Signed Subjects (45 PSA Authenticated Cards Selected Between Checklist #s 113 - 213)

This amazing lot of signed 1952 Topps cards includes 45 PSA authenticated subjects within checklist #s 113-213. A staggering 40 of the 45 offered specimens (89%) reflect a numerical card assessment, with 29 graded "3-VG" or better (total grades include: two PSA 5s; three PSA 4.5s; 16 PSA 4s; two PSA 3.5s; six PSA 3s; two PSA 2.5s; six PSA 2s; two PSA 1.5s; and one PSA 1). It is no secret that a significant number of signed cards typically do not depict a specific autograph PSA grade, justifying why this world-class offering merits the highest hobby accolades. Additionally, regarding autograph grades, 11 subjects carry a signature assessment including three PSA 10's (Masterson; Kazak & Marshall); four PSA 9s; one PSA 8; and three PSA 7s. The 45 players include: Sisler (#113); Scheib (#116); Lollar (#117); McDermott (#119); Niarhos (#121); Rigney (#125); Minner (#127); Martin (#131); Widmar (#133); Tipton (#134); McMillan (#137); MacDonald (#138); Wood (#139); Antonelli (#140); Hartung (#141); Perkowski (#142); Moss (#143); Klippstein (#148); Rush (#153); Hiller (#156); Usher (#157); Rogovin (#159); Byerly (#161); Crandall (#162); Rojek (#163); Kazak (#165); Silvera (#168); Judson (#169); Erautt (#171); Marshall (#174); Hitchcock (#182); Masterson (#186); Reiser (#189); Johnson (#190); Ginsberg (#192); Hatten (#194); Strickland (#197); Zuverink (#199); Houk (#200); Kellner (#201); King (#205); Ostrowski (#206); Coleman (#211); Garver (#212); Jones (#213).

The accompanying chart includes all 45 players along with their respective PSA Card Grades, Autograph Grades (if applicable) and pertinent PSA Population data. A magnificent starter lot, it represents roughly 11% of the total 1952 Topps compilation, with all 45 cards miraculously scripted by the players who were fortunate enough to be part of what is unquestionably regarded as the "Holy Grail" of all post-WWII sets!
