(LOT 2142)
1991 "WORLD CHAMPS" Chicago Bulls Team-Signed Painted NBA Spalding Basketball - PSA/DNA

In 1990-91, the Michael Jordan-led Chicago Bulls finally toppled the great Detroit Pistons to capture their first Eastern Conference Championship in franchise history. That season, they crushed the competition posting a 61-21 record and taking the East by 11 games over the Bad Boys of Detroit. Michael Jordan led the NBA in points per game with 31.5 and points (2,580) and earned his second NBA MVP award. Chicago coach Phil Jackson and GM Jerry Krause built a championship team around MJ that featured forwards Horace Grant, Scottie Pippen and Stacey King, fellow point guards John Paxson and B.J. Armstrong and veteran center Bill Cartwright. Along with his first of six NBA Championships in 1991, Michael Jordan won his first of six NBA Finals MVP Awards. Offered here is an outstanding team signed painted ball from that glorious season featuring 11 player autographs. Highlighted at the top by Jordan himself, teammates include as written: Cliff Levingston 53, Will Perdue #32, Stacey King #34, John Paxson #5, Scott Williams 42, Scottie Pippen, Craig Hodges 14, BJ Armstrong, Horace Grant and Bill Cartwright. All of the black Sharpie signatures range from 7-9 strength two painted white panels with "Chicago Bulls 1991 – "WORLD CHAMPS" printed in red with the Bulls logo at center. Some light chipping can be seen at the seams of the white panels, but little else detracts from this Spalding Official Game Ball of the NBA. This beautifully preserved basketball marks the beginning of the one of the greatest eras in NBA history seemingly a lifetime ago. Don't miss out on this first championship ball signed by the Chicago Bulls and Air Jordan himself! Remember, this was the beginning of two Three-Peats!
