43-YEAR-OLD SETS!!! With the surge in Rookies and Vintage card values over the last couple years, this group of 20 complete and near-sets of 1979 Brooke Bond & Company Olympic Greats is something to consider. This 40-card British Cigarette series issued in 1979 has cards of Nadia Comaneci, Mark Spitz, Jesse Owens, Sonja Henie, Jean Claude Killy, Johnny Weissmuller, Teofilo Stevenson, Olga Korbut, Bob Beamon, Al Oerter, Wilma Rudolph & MUHAMMAD ALI. Most are rookie cards of these Olympic Legends. This group consists of three complete 40 cards sets with the MUHAMMAD ALIs all graded 8 NM-MT by PSA, and 17 near-sets, all missing the Ali card. Overall condition is NM-MT+ with most being MINT. Great investment lot considering the athletes in this set.
