"Unique for the Grade" 1958 Topps #483 Luis Aparicio All-Star PSA 10 GEM MINT – "POP 1"; The SOLE Highest Graded Example!

Hall of Famer Luis Aparicio is considered one of our National Pastime's greatest all-time shortstops. The fleet-footed and slick-fielding Aparicio won the Rookie of the Year Award in his inaugural 1956 season with the White Sox, and was the catalyst who led them to the 1959 A.L. Pennant. His list of accomplishments is incredible including nine consecutive seasons of leading the Junior Circuit in stolen bases (1956-'64); nine Gold Glove awards, 13 All-Star appearances, and a 1966 World Series when his Baltimore Orioles bested the overmatched L.A. Dodgers. He ended his career with 2,677 safeties and 506 stolen bases, with his eternal legacy bolstered by this miraculous PSA 10 GEM MINT 1958 Topps #483 All-Star subject. The SOLE "10" on the PSA Census Report, it stands "heads and heels" above the remaining 950+ encapsulated examples as the finest of its kind! The awe-inspiring Aparicio fielding image portrays the immortal shortstop in a throwing pose as he is about to unleash another "clothesline" toss to first base. The classic '58 Topps All-Star backdrop reveals a robust blood-orange hue and a host of dazzling white stars. Near-perfect centering, immaculate surfaces, razor-sharp corner tips and bright white borders all justify the perfect "10" assessment that places this "POP 1" Aparicio gem at the summit of the illustrious PSA 'POP" Chart!
