(LOT 604)
1954 Bowman #55 Jim Delsing PSA 10 GEM MINT – "POP 2"; Highest Graded Example!

Incredibly, of the approximate 350 PSA encapsulated 1954 Bowman Jim Delsing subjects, only two meager examples have managed to achieve the pinnacle PSA 10 GEM MINT assessment. As part of this remarkable 1954 Bowman set-break, one of those highly coveted "rare for the grade" specimens is presented here, with this PSA 10 memento truly destined to find a permanent home in an esteemed PSA Registered set. Journeyman outfielder Jim Delsing played 10 major league seasons with five different ballclubs, with five of those campaigns spent in the Motor City. This remarkable '54 Bowman subject of the bygone Delsing portrays the left-handed hitting outfielder in a classic "bat over shoulder" pose, as he dons his Detroit-road flannels. Brilliant hues, crystal-clear clarity, excellent centering between four snow white borders, blistering sharp corner tips and immaculate surfaces all combine to justify the "perfect" assessment. After scouring this card both front and back, we simply cannot find any flaws, and it certainly appears as if it has just been pulled from a 1954 Bowman wax pack that was safely tucked away for the past 68 years!

DISCLOSURE: The individual 1954 Bowman Baseball Set Break card individual lots 550-774 aggregate lot total or lot 549 Complete Set will determine the final winner(s) for one of the finest arrays of high-grade imaginable!
