Ultra-Rare Circa 1954-55 Willie Mays Santurce Original 6-1/4" x 6-1/2" Type 1 Photograph PSA/DNA
Between the 1954 and '55 season, as a favor former Giant, Herman Franks, and to Giants ownership, Willie Mays played the outfield for the Santurce Crabbers alongside Roberto Clemente. They won the Caribbean Series title for Puerto Rico that year. Offered is an original Type 1 photograph, measuring 6-1/4" x 6-1/2" of Mays as a member of Santurce alongside two of the teams executives. This borderless photo shows little signs of wear other than slight foxing and light touches along the edges and corners. The reverse shows residue from a once attached paper caption as well as Mays and Miguel Thodde and Ed Universal names scripted in pencil.
