1966 Topps #50 Signed Mickey Mantle PSA 3 VG; AUTO 8 NM-MT
By 1966, injuries had taken their toll on the great Mickey Mantle, with his unparalleled diamond skills slowly deteriorating. Yet, he was still able to wallop 23 dingers while posting a formidable .927 OPS as he approached the twilight of an amazing career. One of "The Mick's" highly coveted mementos from his '66 campaign is an autographed 1966 Topps #50 subject, presented here with a bold blue sharpie signature graded a PSA 8 NM-MT. The card itself has also received a splendid PSA 3 VG technical assessment based on the bright central image, fine centering and lack of any obtrusive surface flaws.
