Offered are three scarce, high-grade 1898 Cameo Pepsin Gum Pins from the expansive 143-pin set. The Cameo Pepsin set, released in the late 19th century, was the first of many large pin sets and featured sepia-toned player portraits with the player name and team across the upper border. The offered trio display crystal clear player images; rarities due to images tending to fade or darken over time. The trilogy consists of Cupid Childs (PSA 5), John Pappaulan (PSA 5) and Patsy Tebeau (PSA 3). Despite PSA's anemic grading standards, the three pins offered present as minimum Near-Mint with vivid photos and glistening surfaces. The finest in the hobby!
