1962 Topps Salesman Sample 3-Card Panel Featuring Musial/Clemente/Piersall PSA Authentic

Offered is a rarely seen uncut 1962 Topps Baseball 3-card salesman sample featuring #50 Stan Musial, #10 Roberto Clemente and #90 Jim Piersall, one the front with a #1 Roger Maris sample card on the back. The back also consists of a two-card promotional panel used to assist sales reps when encouraging prospective vendors to buy the upcoming Topps release. This 7-1/2" x 3-1/2" uncut sample features two Hall of Famers in Musial and Clemente and feared Cleveland Indian centerfielder Piersall after a career year at the plate batting .322. This rare PSA-Authentic panel remains in superior condition with sharp edges and corners and displays excellent centering. The slightest touch on the upper right corner is visible. The reverse also presents clean and fresh with little to no surface abrasions. Salesman samples are scarce to find in high-grade given the frequent handling by reps and possible vendors. A highly desirable advertising piece from Topps that any 1962 collector would covet and would fit right into a salesman sample collection!
