One of the five members of the 1927 Yankees "Murderer's Row" slugging crew (along w/Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri & Meusel), Hall of Fame outfielder Earle Combs' autographed 1933 Goudey #103 subject is presented here in a JSA/James Spence authentic holder. His seldom surfacing blue ink "Earle Combs"
script is affixed across his classic Yankee pinstripes, with the lifetime .325 hitter depicted in a classic throwing pose against a robust blue background. A broken horizontal crease extending from the right border directly beneath Combs Yankee cap and rounded corners are the only notable flaws. An October 2020 $3.0K sale justifies its unequivocal rarity with PSA only listing nine encapsulated signed examples!
