1933 Goudey #117 Signed Rabbit Maranville (SGC AUTHENTIC)
One of the more popular signed 1933 Goudeys belongs to Hall of Fame shortstop Rabbit Maranville who played 23 seasons for six National League ballclubs. Maranville was the catalyst who led the 1914 "Miracle Braves" to their 1st World Championship. While never a star hitter, his defensive ability is still considered the equal of almost any shortstop who ever played the game. This outstanding SGC Authenticated example has been signed in black fountain pen, with 'Rabbit" and "Maranville" situated on opposite sides of the card. The card's overall "VG" aesthetics and solid "7/8" signature strength both combine to place it at a hollowed level, with PSA listing only 11 scripted examples on their prestigious "Pop" Chart!
