Dazzy Vance was one of the most popular players in Brooklyn Dodgers history, utilizing his blazing fastball to lead the National League in strikeouts for a record-setting seven consecutive years (1922 – 1928). The legendary Cooperstown Inductee pitched 20 years for five different ballclubs, tallying 197 wins and posting a formidable 3.24 lifetime E.R.A. One of his extreme cardboard rarities is an autographed 1933 Goudey #2 subject that just happens to be presented here sporting a superb "D. Vance" fountain pen signature. The card itself likewise provides stellar visual appeal, with its fine centering, modest corner wear and sparkling Vance portrait pose all combining to portray "VG" aesthetics.
