(LOT 233)
1933 Goudey #49 Signed Frank Frisch (PSA AUTHENTIC) – One of Only 8 PSA Encapsulated Copies! - Includes a JSA/James Spence LOA

Nicknamed the "Fordham Flash", Hall of Famer Frankie Frisch is one of baseball's finest second-sackers to ever grace the diamond, ending his career with a stellar .316 batting average. He led the New York Giants to several championships in the early '20s, and after being traded to St. Louis in 1927, eventually became part of the famous "Gas House Gang", adding two more championships to his already prestigious resume. Likewise sporting championship caliber is this super scarce 1933 Goudey #49 Frank Frisch subject that has been neatly signed by the illustrious Cooperstown Inductee in what appears to be period-style pencil. Furthermore, the card itself portrays solid VG to VG-EX aesthetics, eluding any glaring surface flaws with its even corner wear depicting an eye pleasing uniformity. The sale of another example in August 2020 for roughly $4.1K clearly substantiates its celebrated stature among vintage collectors, with its unquestionable rarity placing it as bona fide marvel for any world-class autograph compilation!
