1998 Japanese Pokémon Gym Heroes Set Sealed Booster Box (Media Factory, 1998)
Offered is a 1998 Japanese Gym Heroes factory-sealed booster box. The 1998 Gym Heroes set focused on the Kanto's Region's first four Gym Leaders: the Pewter Gym Leader Brock, the Cerulean Gym Leader Misty, Vermilion Coty's Gym Leader Lt. Surge, and Celadon City's Gym Leader Erika. This version is also known as GYM 2. This Japanese-version factory-sealed box includes nearly double the number of packs (60) than the English version that would not hit the market for more than a year. Still in excellent condition, factory-sealed and all, the packaging displays the heroic Gym Leaders against a colorful anime artwork. This is an extremely rare piece of Pokémon history from the beginnings of the trading card game phenomenon.
