(LOT 307)
1935 National Chicle #34 Bronko Nagurski PSA 6 EX-MT

BRONKO ROOKIE!!! One of The "Gridiron's" inaugural iconic running backs was the powerful and relentless Hall of Famer Bronko Nagurski. Never considered a graceful runner, Nagurski just ran straight ahead, over and through the opposition synonymous with a runaway freight train! Although he is best remembered for his "Bull in a China Shop" running style, Nagurski also excelled at other offensive and defensive positions; having no peer as a blocker and his tackling was as effective as any the game has seen.

To date, a myriad of historians still agree that Nagurski may well have been the most complete player to ever compete in the NFL, and no cardboard issue could better represent this football immortal than this 1935 National Chicle #34 rookie card residing in a PSA 6 holder! Along with the 1965 Joe Namath rookie card, no other football subject receives the unparalleled prestige as Nagurski's inaugural cardboard specimen, and this outstanding PSA 6 offering portrays the strong aesthetics highly sought-after by the hobby's most meticulous collectors. The classic Nagurski "running" image, as he dons his #3 Bears jersey, depicts crystal clear focus and impeccable resolution. Rich gold, blue and violet hues provide a sparkling color scheme, and the hallowed pose is relatively well centered between four strong borders.

No glaring surface flaws are evident on either side, and the right-angled corners are consistent with the grade. The final exclamation point is the verso's bold blue print that reflects a brief bio for the star runner. As previously stated, the Bronko Nagurski 1935 National Chicle rookie card stands near the "top of the charts" among the Gridiron's most valuable and coveted cards, and now is your golden opportunity to score a touchdown of your own by capturing this amazing 86-year-old memento!
