1927 Babe Ruth Signs a Baseball for "Babe Comes Home" Movie Cast Member's Son PSA Type 1 Encapsulated First National Photo Measures Approx. 8" x 10"

This sensational 1927 photo measuring approximately 8" x 10" portrays Babe Ruth signing a baseball for a cast member's son from the classic "Babe Comes Home" movie. In this case, it is actor Arthur Stone's lucky son who was able to be the fortunate recipient of the Ruth scripted horsehide sphere. Near-perfect centering, imposing contrast, crystal clear clarity, and a relatively clean obverse side surface all compliment this time-defying marvel.

It was First National Pictures who produced "Babe Comes Home", a 1927 screen picture starring Ruth himself and Anna Nilsson, and the verso includes a significant caption detailing the flip side's illustration. Of course, 1927 would also be the year that the "Sultan of Swat" and New York Yankees would dominate the game in a fashion never seen before. Ruth's magical 60-homer mark and the Yankees four-game sweep of the overmatched Pittsburgh Pirates will "echo for eternity", with this seemingly timeless memento once again demonstrating how Ruth adored his admiring fans, especially the young ones who were totally captivated with this "larger than life" legend!
