This album page has been signed by four Brooklyn Dodger legends including Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider and Pete Reiser. According to our consignor, "When my mother was a teenager, 1950s, her girlfriends and she were huge fans of the Philadelphia Phillies or the "Whiz Kids" as they were nicknamed back then. Her favorite player was Del Ennis and she started the Del Ennis fan club and was the president. They would hang around the clubhouse at Shibe Park and she got to meet many of the Whiz Kids and players of visiting team of the day. She carried an autograph book and got the signatures of many players. As a kid, I remember her telling me how she met a lot of baseball players, but never mentioned names. She said she has this autograph book, but she never took it out. She recently passed and I found it and to my surprise there were some pretty big names in there.
