Gettysburg Eddie was first left-hander to win 200 and then 300 games and was a 3-time World Series champion as a Philadelphia Athletic. One of the top lefties in the American League during his era, Plank worked his way through the A's ranks to become Connie Mack's ace with 284 wins before defecting to the Federal League's St. Louis Terriers for one season. Graded SGC 3 VG, the offered is one of the coveted Eddie Plank issues featuring bold colors and a clear image. Relatively rare for this release, the E95 Eddie Plank is difficult to unearth in high-grade, but this is a great example to begin building a mid-grade set around.
