(LOT 771)
One of the Rarest Early World Series Programs – 1908 at Chicago – Game 2

Cubs defeat Tigers 4 games to 1 for World Championship. It would be over a 100 years before their next World Championship. Vintage scored. Cubs win 6-1 on a monster 6-run onslaught in the 8th inning ignited by a Joe Tinker home run. General handing wear with light horizontal and vertical folds. Fully intact example is most likely one of the better survivors from over 113 years ago. VG condition. Very few copies are known. This very program sold for $33,460 back in 2012 and we can only find sales results for one lesser condition example since then.

MIN BID $5,000
