1948 BOWMAN!!! 1948 was the first year Bowman made Baseball cards. The B&W cards highlighted 48 players from the late 40's. Almost all of the cards are considered Rookie cards including the following players: Kiner, Berra, Sain, Marion, Rizzuto, Spahn, Schoendienst, Thomson & Musial.
