Not only is the N162 Goodwin Champions set generally considered to be among the most beautiful of all card productions, the piece seen here features Hall of Famer Mike "King" Kelly, the most outrageous player of his time. Kelly was also the most popular player of the era, and his image was used to advertise a variety of products from shoe polish to tobacco.
