1959 Topps #317 N.L. Hitting Kings Ashburn/Mays PSA 9 MINT
MAYS & ASHBURN!!! Topps celebrated the ultra-tight contest for the 1958 NL hitting crown with a card recapping the battle. Richie Ashburn and Willie Mays entered the final game of the season knotted for the league lead. Mays had a great day going 2 for 5, but Ashburn went 3 for 4 and won the batting title by a single point. MINT 9 example.
